WHEN: 9.00AM TO MIDDAY
THIS EVENT WILL BE UPDATED SOON

Awareness In Understanding Meditation in Movement.
Regain your balance, open to change
By invitation only and for students with more than twelve months’ taiji practice.
Develop your practice at a three-hour workshop on the theme of movement as meditation.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the core principles of tai-chi and qigong by exploring different modalities.
This workshop will take place on Sunday March 23 from 9.00am to Midday in Bronte.
(Mal’s House – Please respond to secure your place and to receive a video of where to park and directions to the entrance).
A video of how to get in to the house from the street will also be sent.
We will also explore the continuous and even smooth movement of the centre (which is a prerequisite for training in the internal process), the whole body connection and the subsequent development of the pressure and stretch sensors. By bringing the outer movements under control we learn to align and coordinate the lower body.
Breathing and visualisation techniques will help you attain a more tangible sense of relaxation and focus. The gentle movements of tai-chi and qigong form ‘a moving meditation’ or ‘moving in stillness’, heightening self-awareness and instilling self-discipline contributing to a feeling of well-being, dissolving inner tensions and quieting the ‘mind’.
