For students with more than twelve months’ taiji practice Develop your practice at a three-hour workshop on the theme of movement as meditation.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the core principles of tai-chi and qigong by exploring different modalities. Breathing and visualisation techniques will help you attain a more tangible sense of
relaxation and focus. The gentle movements of tai-chi and qigong form ‘a moving meditation’ or ‘moving in stillness’, heightening self-awareness and instilling self-discipline contributing
to a feeling of well-being, dissolving inner tensions and quieting the ‘mind’. The workshop will take place on Sunday February 2 at 9.00am in Bronte (further details on
application).
