3- Improve balance and equanimity, improve one’s calmness, centeredness, be neither a rightist/leftist or midlist.
4- Stirs the deeper wisdom and understanding and the journey through mind to the beyond by quietening and deepening the mind - (no-mind, deep mind).
5- Develops our physical and mental space.
6- The movements of the form convey either skilful techniques or philosophical ideas.
7- The movements are intertwined in the forms and techniques
8- Improves concentration and relaxation
9- A desire to realise the deep inner self and to investigate the ideas of spirit, soul and source.
10- Vertical movements (Yin) represent the deeper part of the mind which convey ideas and is useful in understanding philosophy, improving meditation and contemplation.

Regular public tai-chi weekly classes are held throughout the year (we train in all weather conditions).
Monthly taiji weapons classes are also held on the third week of every month on Saturdays at 7.30am in Centennial Park Sydney
